The facilities ST are for drying of external pipelines surface from 219 to 1420 mm diameters and preheating before insulation coating for improvement adhesion of insulation mastic or poly-meric tapes to pipe during a pipelining. The facilities can operate under ambient temperature from 40 centigrade degrees above zero to 40 centigrade degrees below zero.

The facility consists of: oven, block liquid-fuel burner, traction with fuel tank and cap. The oven construction is made in the form of cylinder, which separated on the two sections along the axis for comfort assemblage. The oven sections each are ring from sheet steel, strengthened of carcass from transverse arches and feathering edges. The rings are insulated a mineral cotton, closed by case from sheet steel for heat loss decrease. The sections are assembled joints with longitudinal beam. It makes its opening possible. There is a socket with threaded openings for join-ing a burner at the left section. A list from heat-resistant steel is installed in a flame zone of the burner at the right section. The list is a counterbalance. On the both sides there are wheel blocks on the longitudinal beam that allow moving oven along the axis line. The burner is protected from mechanical damage and atmospheric precipitation by demountable adjusted cap. Opening and closing oven is made by load-lifting units that in the sides sections. The protective covers for clean-ing pipeline surface from show and naked flame are installed in a front–end side oven.

The oven is assembled with traction by joints. The traction fixes to trolley cradle that pipe supported. The traction construction has a primary application of trolley cradles are produced by the facility manufacturing plant. The traction is made from channels like a cradle. The fuel tank is fixed in the tractive by bolts.

A fuel supply to burner of fuel tank is realized along pipeline that is fixed in the traction and has a rubber hose in the end. The burner connected with a power station by cable.

The burner are completed a remote control console, which can be located in a pipelayer cabin is realized moving of facility along pipeline.
Pipe temperature is up to 60 centigrade degrees above zero after heating.
By request Customer, the facilities are supplied in a set with diesel generator of 4 kWt ca-pacity, which is installed to ST facility frame. It is possible to install an auxiliary burner, and also a burner from Sweden production.
