Manual devices of PIT type are intended for insulating of pipe 32-1420 mm diameter with films by application of insulating (protective) coating of adhesive polymeric tapes on previously fur-bished and coated by a layer of primer on an outer surface of steel pipes in field conditions in process of building and repair of pipelines. The devices are widely used for insulation of pipe weld-ing joints and repair of short sections/
The devices have a split plain for their installation in any place of a pipeline. Number of in-stalled bobbins - two. Type of insulation coating - normal or strengthened from adhesive polymeric tapes as per GOST25812-83, or strengthened from tapes as per GOST9.602-89. Max diameter of a roll - 260-270 mm. The devices are manually driven.
