The winch provided for carrying pipelines through water great distance obstacles when constructing under-water crossings. The winch is based on a heavy load trailer and consists of engine, transmission, drum, rope layer, control and anchor systems.
A torque converter in transmission provides automatic infinitely adjustable speed of carrying pipelines subject toloading. The transmission of winch type LP152 provides maximum drag in all layers of drum winding, in contrast to late-model winch of LP151 type. So, this winch has distance control panel and tractive effort restriction. The current base of winch is heavy load trailer CHMZAP-5208. Complete set consists of: winch, anchor, drag's and anchor's polyspasts, drag's and anchor's rope inserts, caps, more than 1500 m traction rope, clumps ad etc.
It is possibility using rope of 43 mm diameter with increasing carrying capacity of drum up to 800 m and limitation of tractive effort up to 100 tons.
